It's that time of year; the big game is about to kick off, so let's explore some Super Bowl LX odds predictions, rankings, and bets.

As a writer of Denver Broncos news and opinion, I'm an AFC guy, usually going for the American to win it all.

But not this year (or any of the Chiefs years). I'll be rooting for and predicting the Seattle Seahawks to demolish the New England Patriots

Super Bowl LX Odds and Predictions

These Super Bowl LX predictions are going to be so right, you'll wish you listened to me before the game.

Or, they'll be so wrong, you'll make fun of me in the comments.

Bring it on.

Seahawks Blowout

The 'Hawks are going to blow out the Patriots.

Why? Seattle is the most complete team in the NFL. Their defense is legitimately scary, swarming, mean. They're like a colony of wasps when you go banging on their nest.

Meanwhile, Drake "Drake Maye" Maye is injured, and the Pats' offense has lacked the spark we saw in the regular season. Maye's biggest asset is his deep ball, but the Denver Broncos injured his shoulder in the AFC Championship Game. It was snowy, it was cold, and Denver's defense is elite, but Maye's passing was terribly inaccurate and overwhelmingly mid.

Offensively, the 'Hawks have firepower, as long as ol' Sam "I'm seeing ghosts" Darnold doesn't completely revert to his old ways. That seems unlikely at this point because he's been on fire all year and even in the postseason, too.

Darnold will throw it to Jaxson Smith-Njigba close to 10 times, and JSN will catch at least one touchdown. Meanwhile, Kenneth Walker III is gonna have a day, man. They're going to feed him and mix in the pass with the run by using a ton of play action; New England isn't going to be able to keep up.

A lot of people think this is going to be a low-scoring Super Bowl. It might be! But I'm seeing a 31-14 blowout in favor of the Seahawks.

Seattle is favored by 4.5 points, so if you're a bettor, you could think about taking the spread there.

Following the AFC Championship Game, the NFL world is divided. Some have become outspoken against snow football games, while others love weather games.

JSN MVP

Jaxson Smith-Njigba just won Offensive Player of the Year, and he's going to put those skills on display on Sunday evening.

In his two playoff games this year, he had 19 receiving yards and 153 yards, both games with an accompanying touchdown.

Interestingly, his 19-yard game came in the 41-6 blowout of the 49ers. So, if the game really gets out of hand, he might not have that great a game.

But what I'm foreseeing is JSN being the reason the Seahawks blow out the Pats. He's going to have a 125-yard, 2-touchdown game and win the Super Bowl LX MVP.

The stats prove it too: According to Sheil Kapadia, the Pats run man defense at a 9th-highest rate and JSN destroys man.

If you're a betting person, JSN MVP is +550. His O/U for yards is 93.5, which he hit in 11-of-17 regular season games. A parlay of over 93.5 yards and a touchdown is +176 at FanDuel.

9 WRs have won Super Bowl MVP, which is the second-most awarded position behind QBs (34-of-59).

Drake Maye will run

Maye hurt the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game with his legs, and I expect him to do the same on Sunday in Super Bowl LX.

Maye ran for 65 yards and a touchdown vs. the Broncos, and he averaged 26.5 yards per game this year. Meanwhile, the Seahawks defense has been decently solid against the run, giving up 17.2 yards per game and three touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks.

Considering this is the Super Bowl, after all, and quarterbacks will do anything in their power to help their team win, I think we'll see Maye run the ball even more than usual.

He's going to run for 30-plus yards and I like him to score a touchdown, too. If you were to parlay those together, it's +334 on FanDuel.

Bo Nix is the best quarterback in the NFL in avoiding negative plays. That gives the Denver Broncos a chance on offense more often than not.

Super Bowl Rankings

Let's do some fun Super Bowl rankings, and start with the coaching staff, go to the quarterbacks, and some other positions as well.

Coaching

  1. Seahawks: Yeah, Mike Vrabel just won Coach of the Year but Mike Macdonald's defense is incredible. Plus, Klint Kubiak, the playcaller for the 'Hawks, is becoming a head coach next week.
  2. Patriots: Vrabel is a good one—his timeout just before halftime when Maye slid in the Championship Game was special—but they have Josh McDaniels on staff so they're automatically worse.

Quarterbacks

  1. Drake Maye: If Maye is healthy, he's the better quarterback. But is he healthy? It came out after the championship game that Denver hurt his shoulder. Is that why Maye threw it so poorly in that game?
  2. Sam Darnold: Darnold is going to have to be great to win this game, but he has been all year long. The only thing that can seemingly sink these Seahawks is if he sees ghosts in the Super Bowl.

Receivers

  1. JSN: He's the best receiver in the NFL today. Maybe only Puka Nacua even comes close. I'm expecting a massive game from him.

...

...

...

  1. Stefon Diggs: He had a 1,000-yard season, but has only averaged 24.3 yards per game in the playoffs. Is he going to show up for the Super Bowl?
  2. Cooper Kupp: Or is that Kooper Cupp? Either way, dude is old but he can still play. He balled out against the Rams with the game-winning TD in the NFC Championship Game and he was the last receiver to win Super Bowl MVP.
  3. Kayshon Boutte: LOL booty.
  4. Rashid Shaheed
  5. Demario Douglas
  6. Mack Hollins: Put some shoes on.

Defenses

  1. Seattle: Probably the best defense in the game this year. Definitely top-3 with the Texans and the Broncos. They're going to hit Maye, and stop the run. I don't see much offense for the Patriots outside of a deep throw to Boutte, and I expect Rhamondre Stevenson is going to have some tough sledding against the No. 3 run defense. Though, Stevenson may find a way to break one here and there.
  2. New England: They've come on as of late, or is it just that they've played a hurt Justin Herbert with a terrible line, C.J. Stroud going mental, and a backup quarterback in a blizzard? They're going to have to prove it against a great offense. They play man at a 9th-highest rate and JSN kills man coverage.

Owners

  1. Seahawks: The Paul Allen Trust. The team is going up for sale after the Super Bowl. Great timing considering they're going to win easy.
  2. Patriots: Robert Kraft...
